Flights into Billings could be expensive. Alternative ideas to cheapen this cost would be to drive from Denver or Salt Lake City airports by renting a car and driving the 8 hours to Lovell, Wyoming, to meet us at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday at the Conoco Station. The scenery is beautiful, the options very interesting (Yellowstone Park, Big Horn Mountains, Custer Battlefield, Wind River Canyon, Thermopolis Hot Springs, Medicine Wheel on Big Horn Mountains, Big Horn Canyon, Wild Horse Range. Flying into Cody, Wyoming has been a popular alternative. It is a fun western town with nightly rodeos and the best Western Museum in the West. Cody offers a great western atmosphere and shopping, rental cars and closest access to Yellowstone National Park.
